I didn't see any pigeons

I didn't see any pigeons today while pedaling around Pigeon Creek Reservoir in Arkansas, but I did see and ride some great singletrack. I also got to see an amazing Cypress grove at waters edge. These suckers are monsters. Some measured up to eight feet around. Still.......curious as to why it is called Pigeon Creek? Pretty sure they don't swim...

Town Folk

I really enjoy everyday people and learning who they are and what made them who they are.
Found a great blue wall today and a few willing models who were passing by.
If you get the chance (and we all do) stop a stranger and trade tales. You never know who you will meet.

MO Frost...

Another MO Morning of frosty goodness.
The stars are telling me it must be time...
...another area of the country is ready for exposure.
My Stockyard job has come to an end here and the van has a new used tire that is ready to leave what remains of it"s rubber on some twisty less traveled highways.
See you out there.

Still life.......

Funny thing is, life is rarely still. You see something one way every day as you pass by. Truth is, it is changing every second. Took a few hours in the rain the other night at a public park to observe some life as it shows its multiple personalities.

Iride Bike Shop

Poked my head in to one of Central Vermont's coolest shops, Iride in Stowe Vermont. These guys are bike freaks, each one an elite mechanic, they are also responsible for the infamous Stowe Loops trail network, conveniently located behind the shop. Stop here, ride here, BS hear.....

Pictured above: Ron Murray co/owner , lead mechanic. Responsible for dump runs and floor sweeping.
Paul Hammond (above left)... "Works on bikes and is the Head Masseuse."
Dave Clifford (above right)... " Wheel flossing and is the assistant to the assistants."

Open six days a week 10 to beer thirty. No Wednesdays, mandatory ride day.

Time to bust out the stash(s)

Got a call from Kyle Ebbett yesterday. "We just started digging" Which is usually code for get your ass over here and throw some dirt. I finished my ride grabbed a slice and headed. I arrived at Kyle's house to find Ryan Luciano And Ryan McEvoy already doing the dirty work. After a great session in the back yard we slid down the highway and into the forest to check out one of the sweeter stashes around. Don't try and find it cause it doesn't really exist.
